Back in 2009 when we were living in Long Beach, California we saw a wave coming with this new sport, called stand up paddling. So we created Aloha Sup Rentals, an online delivery service.  We were the first ones in Long Beach offering sup rentals. We started with 4 sup boards, then grew from there. A[oha Sup Rentals became so popular, we started working the business full time.  In 2015 we wanted to move back to the islands , so we expanded to Oahu.  We are so happy to be home in the islands and to be able to offer stand up paddle rentals to you!

Co-Founder Billy Loa was born and raised in Hawaii and has over 25 years experience on the water as a medal winning outrigger canoe paddler and dragon boat paddler. He has also won many awards for recruiting team members.  He has been awarded spirit awards for promoting the spirit of the team and bringing people together on the water for a common cause.  In addition, he can add coaching canoe teams to his resume.  Born with a love of the ocean and his aloha spirit, he brings his natural ability to attract people to stand up paddling, a popular water sport that started in Hawaii.   In addition to being an avid waterman he has a background in the movies.  He’s appeared in hit movies like Pirates of the Carribean III, Ocean 13  &  Couples Retreat.

​Co-Founder Lynne Morgan Loa was raised on the East Coast comes from a family of swimmers. Promoting swimming lessons and teaching people how to swim was a natural talent. Growing up Lynne spent a lot of time competing in swimming races where she collected red, white and blue ribbons. Lynne has had many years experience as a lifeguard and swimming instructor. Her love for the ocean brought her to live in Hawaii where she was active in all water sports. Both Lynne and her husband, Billy share a love for the ocean and enthusiasm for the exploding sport of Stand Up Paddling.  In addition to spending time on the water, Lynne has a background as a TV producer for CBS and NBC network news as well as producing a hit show at E! Entertainment TV.
